Struct Mutex

Source
pub struct Mutex<T>(/* private fields */);
Expand description

A sync::Mutex assuming lock poisoning will never occur.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<T> Mutex<T>

Source

pub fn new(t: T) -> Mutex<T>

Creates a new mutex in an unlocked state ready for use.

Source

pub fn lock(&self) -> LockGuard<'_, Mutex<T>, MutexGuard<'_, T>>

Acquires a mutex, blocking the current thread until it is able to do so.

See sync::Mutex::lock for more details.

§Panics

This method may panic if the calling thread is already holding the lock.

Source

pub fn into_inner(self) -> T

Consumes this mutex, returning the underlying data.

Source

pub fn get_mut(&mut self) -> &mut T

Returns a mutable reference to the underlying data.

Since this call borrows the Mutex mutably, no actual locking needs to take place. See sync::Mutex::get_mut for more details.
