Struct CommonAddressProperties

Source
pub struct CommonAddressProperties<Instant> {
    pub valid_until: Lifetime<Instant>,
    pub preferred_lifetime: PreferredLifetime<Instant>,
}
Expand description

Address properties common to IPv4 and IPv6.

Fields§

§valid_until: Lifetime<Instant>

The lifetime for which the address is valid.

§preferred_lifetime: PreferredLifetime<Instant>

The address’ preferred lifetime.

Address preferred status is used in IPv6 source address selection. IPv4 addresses simply keep this information on behalf of bindings.

Note that core does not deprecate manual addresses automatically. Manual addresses are fully handled outside of core.
