Variants

AllowCached

Allow returning recent cached_stats on self-reads when the mapping generation matches (used for high-frequency self-polling files like /proc/self/status and /proc/self/smaps_rollup).

BypassCache

Bypass cached_stats on self-reads to immediately reflect in-place committed page changes from userspace page faults (used for /proc/self/stat and /proc/self/statm).
