Expand description

Privileged API for looking up networks by handles from other subsystems.

Unlike [Networks], this protocol is intended only for privileged system components (such as Software Delivery) that receive out-of-band network handles and need to resolve them to a NetworkToken.

Variants§

§

Lookup

Look up a network by an attribute of that network.

This permits clients that have a network handle to get a NetworkToken for the matching network at the time of the call, regardless of whether that network is the default or not. Once obtained, the returned NetworkToken remains valid and bound to that network even if the network’s attributes (such as its [starnix_handle]) later change, and is only invalidated when the network itself is removed.

Responds immediately with either a NetworkToken or a [NOT_FOUND] error.

§

#[non_exhaustive]
_UnknownMethod

An interaction was received which does not match any known method.

Fields

This variant is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enum variants could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive enum variants cannot be constructed in external crates and cannot be matched against.
§ordinal: u64

Ordinal of the method that was called.
