has_oldest: bool

Whether oldest_retained is meaningful (the ring is nonempty).

oldest_retained: u64

Oldest sequence still retained. A cursor older than this indicates entries were overwritten before they were drained.

next_cursor: u64

Cursor to pass to the next read.
