pub enum HealthCheckRequest {
Ping,
Fast,
Deep,
// some variants omitted
}Expand description
Specifies the depth and latency budget of a driver health check.
Variants§
Ping
Software-only liveness: dispatcher responsive, locks acquirable,
in-memory state consistent. No bus I/O (I2C/SPI/DSI); MMIO reads only
if the block is known to be powered and clocked. Must never return
UNAVAILABLE. Recommended: < 1ms. Deadline (enforced by driver-host):
250ms.
Fast
Bounded, non-destructive hardware reads or progress windows (wait one frame period for a TE/VSync edge, read a status register over I2C/DSI). Must not clear read-on-clear registers or disturb active DMA or scanout. Recommended: < 25ms. Deadline: 2s.
Deep
Extended self-test / BIST. May interrupt active I/O for the duration of the check but must restore prior state. Only issued on explicit operator request (ffx / lab tests), never during framework-initiated sweeps. Recommended: < 10s. Deadline: 2min.
