PrivateKey

Struct PrivateKey

Source
pub struct PrivateKey(/* private fields */);
Expand description

An SLH-DSA-SHA2-128s private key.

Implementations§

Source§

impl PrivateKey

Source

pub fn generate() -> (PublicKey, Self)

Generates a random public/private key pair.

Source

pub fn to_public_key(&self) -> PublicKey

Derives the public key corresponding to this private key.

Source

pub fn sign(&self, msg: &[u8]) -> Vec<u8>

Signs a message using this private key.

Source

pub fn sign_with_context(&self, msg: &[u8], context: &[u8]) -> Option<Vec<u8>>

Signs a message using this private key and the given context.

This function returns None if context is longer than 255 bytes.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl AsRef<[u8]> for PrivateKey

Source§

fn as_ref(&self) -> &[u8]

Returns the bytes of the public key.

Source§

impl Clone for PrivateKey

Source§

fn clone(&self) -> PrivateKey

Returns a duplicate of the value. Read more
1.0.0 · Source§

fn clone_from(&mut self, source: &Self)

Performs copy-assignment from source. Read more
Source§

impl From<&[u8; 64]> for PrivateKey

Source§

fn from(bytes: &[u8; 64]) -> Self

Converts to this type from the input type.
Source§

impl PartialEq for PrivateKey

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &PrivateKey) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 · Source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
